*Class for intermediate players (AIRES, Amateur Intermediate Recorder Ensemble of Sarasota) is from 10:30-12:00. Class for advanced players (SEMC, Sarasota Early Music Consort) is from 12:30-2:00pm. All classes are held on Tuesdays in the main hall of Crocker Memorial Church - 1260 12th St, Sarasota, FL 34236.
*If you are a beginner, we recommend some instruction with a teacher before joining a class. If you cannot find a local teacher, please consider the online classes that are offered by the American Recorder Society (Click the link on the bottom line).
*AIRES is a non-performing intermediate ensemble without audition. Anyone interested may contact Marsha Perry Juday at judaymarsha39@gmail.com. The Sarasota Earlye Musicke Consort is a performing group by invitation only.
*The fee for each session is $10.00, payable on the first day of each month.
*The director for the 10:30 session for 2023-24 is Marsha Perry Juday. The director for the 12:30 session for 2023-24 is Ruth Seib.
